This summer the nation was gripped by polka-dot fever, in the form of a white spotty dress from high street heroes Zara.
It was spotted everywhere, from women on the street, to work colleagues and our best friends (one woman even wore it on her wedding day!). The dress was so popular, it even , dedicated to posting pictures sent in of people spotted wearing the white and black style. Instagram users even started dying their dresses various colours, in a bid to look slightly different to all the other spotty dresses out there.
Thankfully, for those of us who can't be bothered/ don't have time to dye our pre-existing white dresses, Zara has listened to the masses and produced a black version for winter. Praise be!
Like it's predecessor, the new black version is the perfect everyday midi dress to complete our autumn/ winter wardrobe. We can see ourselves wearing it with black tights and ankle boots, bare legs and trainers (the hem is long enough to avoid totally freezing legs), and will pair easily with a black leather biker jacket in the day, or dress up well with a trench or wool coat for an evening look.
Rumours originally went round that this new colourway dress existed in August, but at the time it was only available in Australia (which is a pretty expensive airfare to get your hands on a dress). Thankfully this has now been remedied, and the dress is available for a mere £39.99. We can see this dress being another bestseller, so you better hurry up and snatch up yours now before everybody else catches on!
